The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and the Platte Valley Bank of Platte City will be hosting a Hunter Education Skills Session on Saturday, March 16, 2019, from 9:00am to 1:00pm.  The course will be held in the conference room located in the lower level of the Platte Valley Bank.  Participants must be at least 11 years old.

Prior to attending the Skills Session, participants must complete the self-study portion of hunter education.  This can be completed either on-line or by obtaining a book from one of the MDC offices or shooting ranges.  Participants are required to bring either the printed certificate from the on-line course (issued upon completion) or the book showing the completed chapter review portions as proof they completed the self-study.

Pre-registration for the Skills Session is required and can be done on-line at the following website: Search for the Skills Session at the Platte Valley Bank and follow the registration instructions.

Please note: People age 16 and older do not need to attend the Skills Portion to complete Hunter Education.  If you are 16 years of age or older, the entire course can be done on-line.  If you have questions regarding the course, please contact Conservation Agent Aaron Post at (816) 244-0702.
